All Master of Arts programs are designed to create leaders who can guide organizations through changing times while delivering products and services that are effective, ethical and efficient.
The two-year Master of Arts programs at Concordia University Chicago consist of 30-33 credit hours of online coursework. The academic calendar encompasses three 16-week semesters per year, and each semester is divided into two consecutive eight-week terms. With a total of six sessions per calendar year, students can complete the online MA programs in two years by taking one class per term. Students have the option to enroll in an accelerated plan to complete their degree sooner.
To be considered for admission into any of the 8 online specialized Master of Arts degree programs at Concordia University Chicago, students must have earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution. Prospective students are required to complete the free online application and submit all required admissions materials:
- Objective Statement – Write a brief statement outlining your education and career goals and explain how an online MA degree from Concordia University Chicago will help you fulfill those objectives.
- Official Transcripts – Provide one official, sealed transcript from each institution that has granted you a degree. Full admission requires a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or better for master’s degree or 2.85 for MBA.
- Letters of Recommendation – Send two letters of recommendation from individuals who are able to comment on your academic proficiency, professional competencies and personal character.
- Professional Resume – Provide a copy of your resume or curriculum vitae, including relevant work experience, degrees, certifications, and skills. (MBA only)
