For 160 years, Concordia-Chicago has equipped students to serve and lead with integrity and compassion. Concordia-Chicago is a Lutheran university where the gospel lives and helps mold our students. Our Mission
The mission of the College of Business at Concordia University Chicago is based on the truth of
God’s mandate to join Him in caring for the world. Fostering this Biblical vision of human nature
is an essential element of our business curriculum, classroom instruction, and community
outreach. The College of Business cultivates the virtues of a free society because we believe
that spiritual, political, and economic freedom releases the human creativity that enables all to
flourish and bless the communities in which they live and serve. The College of Business
incorporates vocation into all its programs, giving each person we serve a chance to consider
who they are and how God might use their gifts to serve in their communities, the marketplace,
and the world.
