Chief School Business Management Endorsement
Concordia University Chicago’s curriculum meets the high standards of the Illinois Chief School Business Management Endorsement. Concordia-Chicago offers students multiple pathways to earn this endorsement. This will allow graduates to assume leadership positions in their respective organizations and use what they’ve learned from CUC to succeed. Only students who already possess a graduate degree are eligible to earn this endorsement. If you do not possess a graduate degree, you can learn more about the MBA, Chief School Business Official Specialization here.
By pursuing this endorsement, you will gain a solid foundation in school business administration. You will acquire skills in budgeting, facilities management, human resources, public relations, and legal issues that are required to be a successful administrator. Included in the curriculum are six hours of clinical experience as required by the State of Illinois to be eligible for the CSBO endorsement. The endorsement is available in the fall, spring, or summer terms.
In order to obtain a CSBO endorsement students will be required to show evidence that they have a graduate degree and have taken and passed both the Test of Academic Proficiency (TAP) and the CSBO content test #185.
